I know I will think different in January, but for now I am ready for Fall. Everything in the yard has taken on the look of pending doom! I am looking forward to sitting by the fireplace and doing some quilting. It has been a very busy summer even if I did kill the garden. Steve gave me some weed killer and I kind of over done it. Killed everything in my garden! My flowers did really well and looked very nice. I am working on a Christmas table topper this week. I have it pieced and am ready to start quilting it. Monday the guy comes to finish the damage on the shop, then we will be done with the tornado damage. It has been a real pain in the butt, working with the insurance company. I hope we don't have to go through this anytime again soon! Anyhow here is a picture of the front of the house.

Sock Monkey
This is the sock monkey I made for Shelby. She thought it was soft. She had seen the one I gave Sophie for her birthday, and wanted me to make her one. I told her I would make her one for her birthday. When I took it to her I ask what it that she wanted me to make her and she couldn't remember, so it was a surprise! I really don't think she was that impressed!

And Now You are Four
Yesterday was Shelby's birthday. She is now four years old. I think she is just beautiful. She is all girl, I think she thinks in pink. This picture was taken at pre-school last winter. She has changed since then. Bill and I are going to take her present to her tomorrow. I will post a picture of her and the present tomorrow.

The Girls! Three Years Ago
Megan, Ellen and Madi with the purses I made for them. Not to brag but I think I did a pretty good job on them. It is always fun to make something for the ones you love. They live about four hours away now so I don't get to see them as often as I used to. I am trying to think of something to make them for Christmas. Oh! wait I just thought of something, and no Ellen I am not telling!
