SOPHIE IS 2 TODAY!

Happy birthday to Sophie. She has really changed a lot this year! Now she can walk and talk and talk and talk! If she was Indian her name would be Talksalot. Last Thursday she helped me plant some flowers. She is so happy to be outside. I think she would stay outside all day. I can't wait to take her to the creek and to Kem's pool. She will be a water rat, I think.

WILLOW BLOCK #4

I did meet my deadline of April 30! I have just been so busy watching it rain, I am just now getting it posted. The sun is supposed to come out today, so I am in a better mood. Now to get outside and work in the yard! Yeah for the sun!

Bunnyhill April Block

This block was fun to do. I wish the bunny didn't have to be dark brown. Now I need to do the willow block by the end of April. The fishing will be good at the lake this month so I may not get it done by then. Oh well, got to fish when the sun shines.

Bunny # 2

This bunnies dress is made out of a small piece of fabric I got at a yard sale. The background fabric is not as white as it looks. These are fun to make. I may do a white bunny on darker background next.

VERANDA VIEWS BLOCKS 3,2&1

Just wanted to put something on my blog for Lilly to see. I am ready to work on the forth block. I think it printed out the wrong size, so I enlarged it just a wee bit!

Bunny # 1

Here is the first bunny for the bunny table topper I am making. I am having fun doing this. I am making the wall hanging three bunnies across and three down. This won't be done by Easter this year, but maybe for next Easter. It is fun to pick out different fabrics for the dress.

Lilly I finally got the scanner to work! Here are the first three blocks for the Bunny Hill wall hanging. Now I am going to do the Veranda View blocks tomorrow. I have to do block three yet.

Madi I hope you have a wonderful birthday! You have always been a special person to me. I can remember your cute ways when you were a baby. I love you always and forever. You are such a big girl now, but you will always be my "special christmas present".

Don't Faint Lilly

I have finally taken a half-way decent picture of the January block. I must say the colors are much prettier in real life. Now I can go and work on my flannel quilt.
